The Hook on trial

After all the delays legally possible, the preacher of that specific variety of brotherly and sisterly love, Abu Hamza, is on trial. What can one say? It couldn't have happened to a nicer chap.

Wikipedia and Independent have some nice things to tell about him.

"The Muslim preacher Abu Hamza exhorted his followers to murder non-believers as part of their duty to Islam..."

He had some pretty original stuff to say about Space Shuttle Columbia disaster:

"It is a punishment from God. Muslims see it that way. It is a trinity of evil because it carried Americans, an Israeli and a Hindu, a trinity of evil against Islam. The fact that the motor of the craft fell on Palestine - all these are messages from God."

The last part - that about the motor falling on Palestine - is not clear. If it was intended for the Israeli infidels, why did it fall on a place named Palestine?

Anyway, I hope and know that the trial will be fair. Just in case - dear Brits, please remember that both USA and Yemen requested the chappy to be extradited. You may just decide to satisfy both requirements - fifty/fifty. The only question is who gets the upper part and who gets the lower one.

By the way, The Hook's son has done about three years in Yemenis' nick for some minor bombing activities, so perhaps, after all, the father could capitalize on this experience...
