A urine-soaked gloat from a urine-soaked creature

It can't be said that I am an easily shocked innocent. Indeed, some people consider me to be as cynical as a tax man. But the post A Brief Comment on the Passing of Christopher Hitchens by the known Holocaust leech Norman G. Finkelstein was still a revelation to me.

As JudeoPundit put it, with a great deal of restraint and understatement I have to add, Finkelstein seems to want to avoid gloating over the death of Hitchens, but can't quite manage it. A few quotes from Finkelstein's revealing gloat:

When I first learned that Hitchens was diagnosed with an excruciating and terminal cancer, it caused me to doubt my atheism.
First Hitchens passed.
If that wasn’t burden enough to bear, the next day Vaclav Havel imploded.
The deep thinkers among us were now beside themselves with grief.
But then, on the third day, Kim Jong-il kicked the bucket.
Moe, Larry, Curly. Christopher, Vaclav, Kim.
Well, enough is enough, and any comment will be redundant, in my humble.

So, in the spirit of the above quoted, I would like to make a public commitment. If the hateful vermin croaks before I kick the bucket, I  promise not to say or write anything about the event. Aside of something light and friendly in the manner of  "The vermin bought the farm? Good."

Oh, and if you want to know why the urine imagery in the headline, just read the end of that hate-filled piece by the vermin.

RatFinkelstein PBUH (p*ss be upon him)?

Exactly. I too tend to decipher PBUH the same way in cases like this one.

I note that the urine-soaked creature's ("official") website has a tab labelled "Contact Us". Does this indicate a multiple personality issue, or should we simply liken Finkelstein to a sole-trading eBay merchant who invites buyers to contact his "Customer Service Department"?

Neither. It's the regular royal "we", after all he is royal in his quite unique moral and mental space.

What a charming person.....

Extremely.

More iconoclastic than Hitchens, obviously.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Well, icon wouldn't be the first word that comes to mind, but in a way you are right.

He thinks he is being tough and funny. What a wretched person. He got into trouble with his cohorts on the Naziesque far Left when he advocated for a two state solution rather than the extermination of Zionists so I guess he has to make extra effort proving he is as  uberschmucky as ever in order to regain their trust.

This is not the first time he is trying to enchant the audience with his knee-slappers:

Uberschmucky is a bit too soft for him, but I wouldnt' argue. And thanks for the link.

It's instructive to note that the loathsome George Galloway responded to the Hitch's death in much the same way. I suppose being buried alive by one of the contemporary world's best debaters and polemicists might have that effect. It's also instructive to note that many who had their beliefs assaulted by Hitch still came to admire his talents and even praise him. A case in point was the late William F. Buckley, a very conservative US thinker and writer (click on this from Terry Glavin and go towards the bottom of p. 2 to follow the link to Chris Buckley's comment on this: http://transmontanus.blogspot.com/2011/12/lights-are-on-dunes-comrade.html).
It is still quite surprising, however, given that Hitch had bought the "land stolen from others" myth, re Israel, that the Rat Fink would take this attitude. I suppose Hitch's refusal to confuse anti-(or non-)zionism with antisemitism and/or demonisation of all things Israeli and Jewish might have something to do with it.

Loathsome George Galloway and loathsome Rat Fink. Yeas, they are quite a pair, ain't they?

What piles of excrement Rat Fink and Galloway are. Jealous that Hitchens had more intelligence and wit in his little toe than they had in their entrie bodies. When these two SOBs die, I will gladly  dance and spit on their graves.

That will be nice, but a good hearty piss on the graves will do...
