Gaza-bound aid ship Estelle: no humanitarian aid on board

Makes sense, doesn't it? After all, Syria needs a lot of humanitarian assistance these days, and this is where uncounted flotillas are going, burdened by humanitarian cargo, no doubt.

No? You must be pulling my leg.

I'm sure that the report concerning no humanitarian aid is correct, so why, then, did the BBC this morning report otherwise? I haven't yet logged on to BBCWatch, so my answer might be there. Any serious answers anyone (the unserious ones I already know, and thert with "Jeremy Bowen reports..."

Probably because even the Israeli papers carry the text "Sailing under the Finnish flag, the Estelle was reportedly carrying two olive trees as well as 41 tons of cement, toys, medical equipment, and books."

"Reportedly" is the keyword.

My guess will be empty air - as is fitting these folks.

I resent all this Zionist propaganda. The ship had five bottles of aspirin with expired sell-by dates!

Ach, that... I fear you got them Zionists, Yitzchak...

But doesn't a boat load of personality disordered "acti-tourists" of the Lauren Booth/Greta Berlin type visiting the poorly stocked stores and non-existent restaurants and hotels automatically qualify as humanitarian aid because it's providing moral support for the long suffering victims of Zionism?
Yeah, it's extremely sick making to hear the reports of a bunch of assholes, including elected members of a couple of European governments being prevented from breaching a legal blockade being completely misrepresented by most of the news media.

Yes, what you are saying makes sense. The boatload you mentioned could be qualified as drugs with expired "sell until" date.
