Al Gore on Obama's lackluster performance

This is his explanation, take it or leave it:

"Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today - just a few hours before the debate started," Al Gore explained on his Current TV Network. "Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust -- I don't know."
Well, so we get here a clear image of a sea level plains dweller being suddenly whisked to the mountain, where lack of oxygen has done him in.

Another good analogy would be a beached whale, but I can see why Mr Gore would prefer to keep it in reserve:

Anyway, an idea for the next debate: to make the playing field level, the contenders should meet underwater, after being kept in same conditions - food, exercise, sleep etc - for a week at least. Fair is fair.

And together in one room.

Bwahaha - of all the lamestream MSM reactions today - Alby Gore's was by far the best!

Obama was not done in by the altitude. He was done in by affirmative action which greased his wheels and, since he's been in the White House, by the Democrat news media which has rarely challenged his version of events or even asked him a hard question. He's used to being king (as Michelle is used to being queen) and king's aren't debaters.

Gore is looking more and more like a whale all the time.

I tend to agree, although there is another, less famous contender, claiming that losing the first round was an intentional strategy to lure the opponent into over-confidence toward the smashing hit of the next debate.

Yeah, I guess he is not into reducing the CO2 footprint by going vegetarian...

Ha, ha, ha. Fat chance.

He wants our footprints reduced, not his. He's part of our permanent political class which always gives themselves a break from the laws they pass for the rest of us.

Yeah, be interesting to watch, although I know I wouldn't. I am sure MSM will report in details.

Hi footprint in a few years will need his own ZIP code, if he continues to grow at that rate.

Agreed. I have better things to do.
