UNESCO vote today will keep Syria on human rights committee

It certainly does figure, UNESCO being part of the Dictator's Club. Why, even our cuckolded secretary of state said we couldn't aid the Syrian revolutionaries without Assad's permission.

  So far no news, but there was no intention to throw Syria out in the draft of the resolution:

"UN cultural agency UNESCO is set to condemn Syria at its executive board
meeting but fall short of Western and Arab hopes of expelling it from
its human rights committee, according to a draft resolution."
