Thanks for posting this. Reminds me of Louisiana, where the bird watching was better than it is here in California. I've seen a few interesting things in Los Angeles, however. We had a Cooper's Hawk for a few minutes on a power line in the backyard, for instance. And the frequent hummingbirds are nice around here. And California has its own version of the Blue Jay: the Western Scrub Jay.

Yep, I am familiar with all birds you named, although my general knowledge is very limited. Cooper's hawk is pretty impressive.
