Johnson & Johnson and what size were these drawers?

This case, being a banal story of thievery by a public official, presents an interesting technicality that stopped my eye today.

Prince George's County Executive Jack Johnson, whose second term expires next month, and his wife, Leslie, who was recently elected to the County Council, were charged with witness and evidence tampering and destruction, alteration and falsification of records in a federal investigation.
So far, nothing unusual. Anyone would panic, seeing big unsmiling Feds invading one's home and may indeed do something rush he/she may want to undo later. But this:
FBI agents said they recorded the husband telling his wife to flush a $100,000 check from a real estate developer down the toilet and to stuff almost $80,000 in cash in her underwear.
I mean, $80,000, even in $100 banknotes, will make a sizable package, and the lady doesn't look especially big:

(The one on the left is supposed to be the culprit, hard as it is to believe in it).

And in any case, this ruse didn't work.
After FBI agents entered the home, they searched Leslie Johnson and recovered $79,600 from her underwear.
So, what is the lesson we could learn from this story?
  1. Stuffing money in your drawers is not only unhygienic, it is also unsafe.
  2. Crime sometimes doesn't pay, but in any case you can't go wrong with electronic transfer of your funds.
  3. Someone else could find a good use for that $100,000 check!

Maybe she wears them all the time, to be on the safe side?
