There are those, of course, who won't ever like anything like this. But, then, there are sad people everywhere.
What we have is a photo of a soldierly embrace (hands on the other guys elbows time) between an Israeli high-ranking Israeli intelligence officer and an Egyptian ditto. It was first posted, apparently (according to the Algemeiner report), in 2011 and uploaded to a FaceBook page then. However, only now has it spread into other areas of the blogosphere. Of course, the main dislikers are the Islamists and Jihadists, especially in August 2013, as it shows just how flaky the Egyptian is and always has been. Well, since 1973, at least. Others would call it "realistic", of course. Better to share intelligence on terrorism and terrorists than to come to blows with the real enemy: the ones with tanks, long-range artillery and fighter-bombers.
Among other things, what's being said is that the Islamists "condemned the “apparent coordination between the parties, Egypt and Israel,” which it said was “completely contrary to common logic and health.” It called for the purge of “traitors” from within the Egyptian Army and claimed that “we (the Muslim Brotherhood) are the only ones who can do it,” according to Channel 2′s translation." In other words, we don't care how many non-Islamist members of Egypt's armed forces get killed by the IDF, what's important is ideological purity. As we who come here regularly know, ideological purity kills more people than the post-world-war-one flu epidemic ever did, however you count the bodies.
Go ask! Just don't let the insane take over the asylum. Please!!

Just imagine if the Egyptian had been noticeably shorter than the Israeli...
“completely contrary to common logic and health.”
This one escapes my understanding.
Deity forbid. It would have pissed off the MB folks even more ;-)
Mental health? Who knows with MB.
Anything to piss off the MB. And they wonder why the military took the country back.
That much is true, I am sure.
