Russians on Snowden's punishment

Russians had to say a few things about Snowden's crime, but nothing especially original. They know the extent of surveillance their own authorities perform without undue noise. More significant is what they said about Snowden's punishment:

Which is translated as: "For his crimes against the American state, USA court sentenced Edward Snowden to the highest measure* of punishment: living in Russia".

So there.

(*) "Highest measure" - an idiomatic equivalent of death penalty, used in the times of NKVD.

I wonder how long Snowden will like his new home? A year? Two? Especially after they freeze not only his funds but his parent's funds.

Depends how successful his brainwashing will be.

Ah, Ruskie cynicism. So well deserved.

This is rather personal knowledge of the subject than just cynicism.
