This report from The Algemeiner tells us that Hamas fears a coup in Gaza. It appears that "[t]error group Hamas is becoming increasingly concerned that the actors responsible for the removal of Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi from power last month are encroaching on its unchallenged rule in the Gaza Strip" so it's taking steps to avoid this by declaring a state of emergency. Just imagine, a terror group resorting to conventional political means to protect itself.
Actually, I would have thought that, from all the reports coming out of Gaza, Hamas operates as though there was a permanent state of emergency. Be that as it may, the Elder of Ziyon (the link within the article labels him "the anonymous blogger") offers a translation from the "Palestine Press Agency [that] is reporting that Hamas has declared a “state of emergency” following a declaration by the Tamarod protest movement that November 11, the anniversary of former PLO leader Yassir Arafat’s death, will be a day of protest against Hamas and Fatah." This group was responsible for gathering the 15 million signature petition that started the ball rolling for the removal of Morsi.
While Hamas may be getting fidgety about this, it seems a little premature, given that Tamarod's Facebook page in Gaza has got 20,000 "likes". Doesn't mean all those people actually plan to do anything about it. Anyway, as I almost said instead for the title of this piece: for them my heart bleeds.

Debka and Obongo are made for each other. I'll believe this world alert when something happens. Otherwise it's just more change-the-subject from the White House fog machine.
Of course, Debka's revelation is pure crap. And I can see where all this brouhaha with closing down the embassies and stuff could have been used for distraction, right your are.
You know that was the Left use to say whenever there was a terror alert when Boy George (Bush II) was President!
Which means that both sides are right on this account?
