Shafting the Ostrich

Another pinnacle of satirical cartoon(ery? ism? ation?). Explained here by Mick Hartley. I can hardly add something to his analysis.

Well, I am being coy here. Surely I have a word or two to add. See this mention of Mick's:

Whatever you may think about Sweden it isn't the first country that comes to mind as lapdog-of-the-US, doing its boss's dirty work.
Of course, he is right. It was the Little Satan's duty to take care of Mr Assange. But what could we do, if all the best trained Mossad girls took flight after a brief look at the target's mugshot? So, as usual, it was subcontracting all the way to Sweden...

I thought he was referring to Germany. Heh. I think Assange is going to have a little bit of trouble getting out of this one.

It looks like the first lady who pressed the charges is going to back off. She is in Palestinian village now. Fighting for feminism, I guess.

Fighting for her life, more likely. Oh, well. One way or another, Mr. A. is headed for trouble. I mean, shoot, Pay Pal dropped him. How do you top that?

The idea that Sweden is somehow doing Uncle Sam's dirty work by prosecuting Assange is laughable. The fact that Assange is fighting extradiction to Sweden suggests he is guilty of at least one of the charges.

Well, I would say that the charges themselves look a bit artificial, taking the source into account. But I agree that CIA and such are hardly involved in a bullshit charges like these.
