It's cool, from what I read in the JPost, the Palestinian firefighters who came to help. Proves firefighters are all alike. It makes them nuts to sit around while something's burning. Weird, though, that their EU-provided trucks are more sophisticated.

Thanks Yehoshua.

Yes, firefighters is a calling rather than just a profession. I too knew a guy or two who were crazy about the job.

Thanks Snoopy. It is good to know where and to which groups it is best to contribute to. Like Dick, I am impressed by all the help Israel recieved from their neighbors especially the Palestinian firefighters. That is the best news I have heard about the Palestinians in quite a long time.
Snoopy, is there any chance that idiot of an Interior Minister, Yishai will be forced out because of his role in Israel being unprepared for this fire or is he and Shas too important to Bibi's coalition for Yishai to be held accountable?

The international assistance was impressive indeed and helped a lot.

Re Yishai - no, unfortunately this creature is glued to his chair for good. No matter who is the current leading party...
