Students for Justice in Palestine vs Sabra hummus: an update

The Sabra brand of hummus will continue to be served in cafeterias on the campus of DePaul University in Chicago.
Unlike professor Finkelstein, whose produce was rejected by the said university.

Details.

And, from Citizen Wald, a hilarious spotlight on the same subject:

Inevitable that any product associated with Israel is going to have to contend with boycotts, particularly among the bird-brains of academia. We can only hope that they tie themselves in rhetorical knots arguing about it.

Well, they usually do, with some exceptions.

Actually all canned brands of hummus are inferior to ones prepared in small restaurants and eateries. So the only way to taste the real stuff is to come to Lebanon or Israel...

Sabra is sold here in covered, see-through plastic dishes found in a grocery's (cold) dairy case. It is not in cans (shudder), though I agree that you need to taste the stuff sold in an Israeli restaurant. Lebanon I'm not so sure about.
