England fans gather for crucial tie, says the report about a recent do in Gelsenkirchen.

A total of 25 England soccer fans were arrested on Friday night after scuffles with German fans. The arrests followed an exchange of bottles between the two sets of fans after Germany beat Argentina on penalties to book a place in the competition's semi-finals.

Police said 25 English and 25 Germans had been arrested by midnight. These included a number of preventative detentions.
