Setting free the beers

Can you do this?

If you can, I want to be your friend.

And if you also got the allusion in the title of this post - I, probably, already am your friend.

I've heard of stuffing your bra, but this goes one better.   Did she get away with it?  And they look Paki, are they?

I guess that being picked up by the security camera, she didn't. And I didn't see any close-ups, so hard to say where she is from.

Yup. Trying to figure out the technique.

A fellow fan of the man who liked to include bear, wrestling and Austria in his books!  I liked when the Cider House Rues came out, there were adverts stating "Guaranteed No Bears!"

One thing I did like, reading Irving's Autobiography, is that he showed a direct connection between three of my favourite US authors: Kurt Vonnegut, taught him creative writing and he in turn taught T Coraghessan Boyle (if not familiar with TC Boyle, read the Road to Wellville and see the film made of the book!)

Right you are, and yes, I do like TC Boyle too. Unfortunately, I can't say I am as happy with the latest Irving's books as I was with earlier ones.

He does seem to have lost his way a bit. Still he has written a stack of excellent novels

Oh, don't get me wrong. His body of work definitely puts him up there with a very few best and finest. Well, age does things to people.
