Ron Paul may not be a racist or anti-Semitic, but...

Rather several buts...

The man is a grade B nutcase. Why anyone would consider him as anything more than a joke candidate beats me.

I say grade B because grade A is needed for the likes of Lyndon LaRouche

Well, you can see that a lot of folks in US support him wholeheartedly.

Ron Paul seems to be almost exactly a Bircher. Rand Paul seems like more of a mainstream conservative and he has said some supportive things about Israel. However, I would be very happy not contemplating politicians with the last name of "Paul" at all.

I am with you on that. Little that I know about US internal politics, the two will be better doing their day jobs.

Ron Paul may not be a racist or anti-Semitic, but he is supported by racist groups, such as Storm Front and has not truly repudiated their support. His close ties to racists makes Paul the same scum as they are.

Thanks for linking to this post, Snoopy. Had read about some of this, but had not realized how much racism Paul was guilty of until now.

The lack of response from him could mean anything, of course, but coupled with his own views it says a lot.
