Chrome browser and the end of the world. As we know it. For programmers only.

It was an inordinately wise programmer who said:

This automatic self-update of Chrome is the way that Chrome browser will quietly and unobtrusively turn into Chrome OS one day. And then...
Disclaimer: if you are not a software person you don't have to and, indeed, better not, pay attention to this. Let it be, it is beyond humans' ability to change anyway.

Is there a program I can use to translate this into English?

I read this as "All your computers are belong to us, Mwuahahahahahah!!!!"

Er... I believe, Katie, that people who are not involved should just relax and wait for the end of the world. It wouldn't be painful, to be sure.

I think, Jams, that you are aiming too low. It is not the computers they want. And I think that Mwahahaha.... is not Google style.

They will gently but firmly explain to you (to us) the list of tasks each gets for tomorrow and the new system of punishment and encouragement. Then they will send us to sleep. For the 6 hours, to be fresh and ready for the new day.

I don't like Chrome anyhow. It doesn't have a tool bar I can readily use.

This is why Chrome is so quick - due to lack of features.
