Do places of Jewish worship in Chicago need explosives from Yemen?

And if the answer to the above question is positive, my next question will be: why?

Details.

Definitely no House of Worship needs explosives from Yemen. Fortunately they were intercepted, fingers crossed that none of  the explosives got through  Little bit strange the explosives were apparently sent directly from Yemen and not to some local Al Qaida operative. It may be a trial run to test US security. Post and discussion about this at http://hurryupharry.org/2010/10/29/al-qaeda-targeted-jews-in-chicago

Version I read suggested it was intended to screw up international commerce by forcing inspections of these freight-hauling planes, which would drive up the cost of shipping.

If you are Louis Farrakhan or Jeremiah Wright it not only does, but you are commanded by your god to place them there.

Maybe Yemen's post office offers good rates to Chicago ;)

Thats' interesting. Shows that AQ started to hit where it really pains.

These two, why didn't I even think about them?

Apart from the exploding okra handlersof Alabama (abd they are pretty damn rare these days) I can't think of any place of worship that would wish to take a cosignment of explosives

Yeah, but as I put it elsewhere, it could have been a Yemen's Post Office marketing initiative: send one explosive package, get one free or summat...
