Danny Ayalon, the astonished "diplomat"

The insidious Danny Ayalon writes in JP about almost wall to wall criticism of the "loyalty oath":

It is simply astonishing to hear all the criticism of what should be an uncontroversial amendment.
I know that anything stupid or vile of Lieberman's invention would be "uncontroversial" to his pet "diplomat" (Don't let's forget that "The writer is deputy foreign minister and an Israel Beiteinu MK".)

I am really losing track of astonishing things that happen around the Lieberman/Ayalon pair of clowns. Let's take a look at few:

1. Ayalon's treatment of the Turkish ambassador.

2. Lieberman's diplomatic savvy.
FM tells French, Spanish FMs to solve Europe's problems before coming to Israel...
3. The mere fact that Mr Ayalon passed the exams necessary to become a diplomat in our foreign service.

4. The mere fact that a common thug becomes an FM...

5. Enough...

Yeah, that's Ayalon the great thinker in his best shape.

I am pretty sure that there are currently other countries that have a pair of thugs running their foreign policy, unfortunately I do not know any of them. Snoopy, I agree with you and Shira that hopefully this loyality oath, which sounds like something out of the McCarthyite era witch hunts of 1950-1954 here in the US, does get defeated in the Knesset. As for Lieberman and Ayalon, perhaps this is just the law of averages catching up and compensating for earlier Israeli Foreign Ministers like Golda Meir and Abba Eban!

I wish it to be defeated in Knesset, however the chances are slim.
