‘ISIS Sees Turkey as Its Ally': Former Islamic State Member Reveals Turkish Army Cooperation

“ISIS commanders told us to fear nothing at all because there was full cooperation with the Turks,” said Omer of crossing the border into Turkey, “and they reassured us that nothing will happen, especially when that is how they regularly travel from Raqqa and Aleppo to the Kurdish areas further northeast of Syria because it was impossible to travel through Syria as YPG controlled most parts of the Kurdish region.”
A worthy read. Even if the story told there is only partly true, the situation where a NATO member continuously undermines the NATO-led effort is grotesque. As grotesque as the White House relentless flow of compliments and confessions of true love to Erdogan, the half-mad half-Caliph.

Kick Turkey Out of NATO - says my Council colleague, Scott. Is he right or is he right?

Snoop,
The world is in one of those times of great changes (I know it changes all the time, but this is one of the big ones) and a lot of the long running pretenses are being exposed whether the participants like it or not.

I do sincerely hope that the participants hate this process and suffer to the max. Not that it always works that way...

Some will, some won't, world's been like that for a long time. The good thing is that it seems the pendulum seems to be taking a swing for the better. I don't know about you modern's, but when I get down flaying alive a few courtiers always kind of lifted my spirits. Maybe this would be a good time, now where is that bell and ....

Can't kick 'em out. Bases there are too valuable, even when they pretend to close them to suit their cronies.

Not meaning to mock the wounded, dying or dead, but this is just one more reason why light rail is a bad idea.

Yes, a good public flaying has the tendency to improve one's sense of well being, no argument here.

Hm... yes, so maybe there is another way...

Well, it could have been a bus stop or any other gathering.
