Hamas says its forces are fighting IDF troops inside Israel

This is the long and the short of this news item. The only thing to say about it: pigs are considered non-kosher by Muslims too, so how come Hamas is ready to launch these flying pigs?

Debka, I know..treat with grain of salt, is reporting that Eshkol residents are being told to stay at home and lock their doors due to an unspecified security activity.

Since what the call fighting outside their borders is to sent a few martyrs-to-be via a tunnel, it seems to be both.

The two Israeli soldiers, a colonel and a sergeant, who were killed this morning, were shot by Ham-assnicks emerging from a tunnel, though whether inside or outside Gaza is unclear in the reports.

I heard that Hamas is trying to kidnap and murder young Israeli children. That is why they are attacking Kibbutzes. Any truth?

They will kidnap anyone, but mostly, I gather, for the purpose of prisoners' exchange. The prefer to murder children using lone suicide bombers or random attackers, like it was with the three kids recently.

Technically the exit was on Israeli side of the border. Oh, and it was a major, although it really doesn't matter.

Times of Israel corrected the rank to major, Arutz 7 still has him as a colonel.
