Kenyan lawyer takes State of Israel, Jews to Hague over Jesus' death

That's a capital idea, I think.

A Kenyan lawyer has filed a petition with the International Court of Justice in The Hague, suggesting that the trial and crucifixion of Jesus Christ was unlawful, and the State of Israel among others should be held responsible, Kenyan news outlet the Nairobian reported on Friday.

Dola Indidis, a lawyer and former spokesman of the Kenyan Judiciary is reportedly attempting to sue Tiberius (emperor of Rome, 42 BCE-37 CE), Pontius Pilate, a selection of Jewish elders, King Herod, the Republic of Italy and the State of Israel.
Time to clear the matter once and forever. There is only one problem: we had a Labor government at the time, and now it's a Likud coalition at the helm. So Mr Indidis will have to wait a bit...

Oh, surely, there's a statute of limitations, even on this Hague twaddle. Great publicity for a legal beagle, however.

Another Kenyan eh! Apparently this one and the one elected twice here believe there are no limitations on some things.

Quoting one of the comments: "If the International Court takes this seriously it will establish in
international law that the modern state of Israel is the legitimate
natural and legal successor of ancient Judea." :) :)

Let's hope the Palestinians embrace the Kenyan's project ...

That true.

Imagine the precedent it might create... I shudder.

Be nice, they usually embrace things without much thought, so be sure it will happen.

Long as you're back (and welcome back at that) how about some diligent Elder research into whether Prince George has followed his grandfather into circumcision. Rumor has it his father was exempted thanks to his mother, Princess Diana's squeamishness. The royal snip goes back to at least Queen Victoria (possibly King George in the 1700s) when the royals claimed descent from King David.

This must be the trial of the century. Its value as a legal precedent will be tremendous and will give the option for suing the Mongol government for the actions of Genghis Khan, the Scandinavian governments for the Vikings not mentioning the trial against Erdogan for the occupation of East and South Europe by different Turkish sultans...

Erm, nah. No conspiratorial value.

If anything from that album, this is the one:

Uh Oh, I'm dealing with a purist!

I know raw R n' R, but that's not the point. You, lackin' conspiratorial value. Cooder may lead us to Cuba, but the Monarch was a Neocon Zio Agent with Tribal roots, his gammy was an Elder. His mother is buried under the shield of Dave.

As you can see from this photo obtained under great personal danger, all was not as it seemed at Graceland!

SnoopyTheGoon said...

I actually planned a post on the subject just before leave.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Exactly what I mean. It will give lawyers of the world endless opportunities.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Not bad at all, thanks. And nifty guitar job too.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Good ol Dave, a rocker for sure.

Yup, plucked an early form of axe that looked a bit like a harp. His legendary rendition of the catapult riff went down well with head banger Goliath.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Whoa, what? Where it be?

SnoopyTheGoon said...

As I said there are problems, operator error in this case.

Methinks the International Court has about as much future as the EU itself. If the U.S. (so far) doesn't take them seriously, there's no reason for J-Lem to.

And a dancer, too, I have heard.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Ach, so sweet...

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Yes, but think about the poor underemployed lawyers. Such a bonanza!

SnoopyTheGoon said...

This is what happens when a country has too many lawyers. They have to invent cases in order to put food on the table for their family. Believe this is the first time where someone has sued both the Italians and the Jews.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Yes. As for overproduction of lawyers - it is everywhere, so we might as well invent new jobs for them, and this is as good as any other.
