That headline is classic tabloid media subediting, obsessed as the art is with alliteration. I do it myself as a means of attracting attention to blog posts, but like to think that I'm a little more careful than the BBC sub responsible for the Shasta Khan story.
Talking of whom, why is the young lady's head uncovered in the photo? Her husband looks to be attired in the usual wabhabist bedsheet and crocheted cap, so why is his wife not covered in a tent or suchlike?
I guess you are right about the headline, enjoyable as it is.
As for the photos: probably from the arrest file. Taken by a woman cop, probably, to adhere to the Law.
