This means Bradley Burston is addressing quite a lot of people. And he asks a loaded question:
When a leftist places quotation marks around the word rockets, when a leftist terms attacks on civilian populations a matter of human nature, when a leftist dismisses rockets as crude, homemade, and unguided, or blames Israelis for their use, when a leftist notes that rockets have killed "only 28" Israelis, or sniffs or jeers at the fact that one out of seven Israelis, one million in all, are currently in rocket range – it may be time to ask, what it is, exactly, that's supposed to make a person a leftist?Good stuff, do read it all.

In Britain they are referred to not as "rockets", but "fireworks". Roman Candles over Sderot - what a pretty sight, eh?
Yeah... I think that Sderot hotels are pining for such people as guests.
Leftists are rather more comfortable with dictators, in general, than democracies. So naturally they gravitate towards Hamas, et al, and whatever they do.
I read the article.
Here is the comment that I left on the site.
Here is what you said.
"both Israel and Hamas have made marked and largely successful efforts to limit civilian casualties on both sides of the border"
Okay, enlighten me on this one. Hamas (or their proxies) fire rockets at Israeli civilian centers. What would be the purpose of that other than to inflict maximum civilian casualties. Please explain.
Stan
I stayed in Sderot for a month. I don't remember seeing a hotel.

Here is what I tell the Moonbats:
If Israel falls ALL 6 million Jews of Israel will park on your lawn and throw rocks at your family and home.
Now, now, Stan, let's not stick to the letter. Figuratively speaking, hotels in Sderot can do a hell of a job with the tourists who like Qassams falling around...
So lets' give them more of Hamas then. If we can't bring Hamas to them, let's bring them to Hamas. Gazans encourage tourism lately, I hear.
I agree, that was a mysterious statement. Gaza rocket scientists, as usual, targeted population centers. The fact that nobody died is not a result of not trying.
However, in my opinion this statement is outweighed by the rest of the article.
Stones? Why, we could use rockets now that we have learned from Gazan rocket scientists.
True. I stand corrected. Fire rockets and bullets into their home. At least twice an hour.
OK, we have a deal ;-)
Ah, this time you "missed it by that much".
Should have said "can do a hell of a job with the tourists who like fireworks"
Stan
That too ;-)
