Nightmare Honeymoon reloaded

Being kidnapped during one's honeymoon is bad enough, but being sued for letting the police catch one's kidnapper is even worse:

Two years ago, fugitive murder suspect Jesse Dimmick kidnapped newlyweds Jared and Lindsay Rowley after bursting into their home on a Saturday morning.
Now, he’s suing them for $235,000.
Good for him. Somebody has to teach young people to be good jungle law abiding citizens.

More crazy lawsuits of the past year here.

Damn right. When will these bloody people realise that a contract is a contract, even when it is oral. I hope they are sued back to the Stone Age!

Furthermore I am glad that this suit is being treated with the seriousness it deserves. After all it will provide much needed employment for lawyers, a service sector that has been reduced to penury during the global recession....

Wow I worte that with a straight face!

The case deserves no less than a straight face.

I'm surprise that one could report this with a straight face.

Well, you are not alone then.

That's why we have right-to-carry laws. A simple trigger squeeze would have eliminated this post-trauma travail.

Yep, he would be forced to complain via the celestial court then. Much better for all concerned.
