Cows on my mind

It is that simple:

It was a gruesome accident May 22: A truck driver lost control and his rig carrying 36 cows partially tipped over on an overpass along Interstate Highway 80 near Hazel Crest, sending some of the animals plunging about 25 feet onto Interstate Highway 294.

The death toll totaled 16 head of cattle, including one badly injured animal that police shot to end its suffering.

An animal-rights group now wants the Illinois Department of Transportation to erect an official roadside memorial sign.
I see what Findalis meant by her proposal of a memorial, but my mind demands a more specific reminder:

As for chips: I have it there in advance: to mollify the PETV people.

Yeah... anyway, it's clear now: steak for dinner today.

So you would encase the steak dinner in a block of lucite and put it on a pole by the side of the highway?

It's a non-denominational memorial, Jams, notice the chips!

I thought about 16 blocks of lucite. Let's not be too stingy, think of
all these steaks lost. Or, maybe not, as the case might be, who knows?

That wonderful steak could be cooked on the Memorial Grill.  Think of all the wonderful traffic jams that would occur as the majority of people would stop to receive their free steak dinner (Served in lovely memory of the dead cattle.).

Yep. More traffic jams, less accidents. Beneficial to the cows, after all.
