And what do you think was the reason for the excitement?
- The folks of Falkland decided to join Argentine after all?
- Baby Assad declared war on UK?
- A huge cosmic goat the size of Solar system is going to attack Earth and tear it to smithereens?
- England won the Mondial*?
- British pound doubled its value overnight?
Jayzus!
(*) That was really cruel and uncalled for, my apologies to English footie fans.

Well, he does have a history. Maybe he wasn't clothed.
Well at least the British cops did not open fire on Prince Andrew as what happened in Arkansas where a gallant SWAT unit killed a 107 year old man! Unfortunately no joke, read about it at http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57601870/swat-team-kills-107-year-old-arkansas-man-in-shootout/
re English footie fans, snoopy, no apology needed. Rather a sense of understanding and a nice ice-pack for their fevered brows. They always seem to expect (with nothing based on rational calculation) the England football teams will win everything in sight: clearly a delusional state, despite having invented the game.
We English rugby (15-a-side) fans, on the contrary, always live in hope but no expectation. Thus when we won the 2003 World CUp, it was a delight. When we got into the final in 2007, it was unexpected, and that we lost regrettable but not a disaster.
That should put the football fans in their place, he said, heading for his personal nuclear bunker!
Not mentioned, but you are right: who knows what shenanigans the royals are up to.
Yeah, this is what I call going out in a blaze of glory. Or what Dick calls "suicide by police".
Brian, congratulation for mastering the art of comment login.
Secondly and more importantly, it is a well known fact that conspiring Jooz support the All Blacks.
