Is it possible for the spoiled children of the Western world’s bourgeoisie to get any more repulsive than this?

Terry Glavin asks a pretty rhetoric question, I know, but it is his answer that you all should read.

And also this, from Anne Applebaum:
Two decades ago as well as today, the source of the problem is the same: The president of the United States wishes to represent things — justice, fairness, international norms — that he cannot, or will not, or doesn’t know how to defend in practice. In the future, it would be far more just, and far less cruel, for the president, and the rest of us, simply to say nothing at all.
Yep.

Update:

This and more inanity from LA.

Ah, lest we forget the "peace" movement's support of the Viet Cong and their savior Ho Chi Minh. The more things change...

Yeah, the so called "peaceniks" will support Satan if only it will get their consciousness (or what they call consciousness) feel good.

I watched O's presser, he's done.

The problem with Syria is that we have no definitive proof that it was Assad who actually used the chemical weapons. He was killing thousands before this happened. We should have gone to their aid way before the Islamists and al-Qaeda joined the rebel forces. We are now faced with the lesser of two evils and I don't see the Islamists as that.

The world was convinced that Iraq had WMD, and look what happened there.

Am working on a post about why I think it would be wrong to engage.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Yep.

This post was not about who should engage with Syria, rather about people who know for sure that their so called "peace" is the universal solution. Especially when their backsides are not on fire.

I'm sure the real slogans that they wanted to use was:

War
is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Knowledge is Ignorance

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Probably, but I am too tired to try to understand these folks already. They are tiring.

You can be against air strikes or other military action against Assad and his murderous regime without embracing Assad and proclaiming that negotiating with the B**tard will bring peace like these idiots do.

Warning the following may be more revolting than the previous images on this post with Mrs.Assad with a group of children at http://hurryupharry.org/2013/09/06/whats-the-message/

Katie, exactly.

Indeed. What a farce.
