Some of the comments are rational. But what a depressing sight. This is what the majority of African-Americans are fed day in day out. As in the case of Rev. Wright, when a window to his world was flung open, most Americans were stunned and distraught, that this kind of ethos was being propagated right in the midst of mainstream society. You hardly ever get a glimpse of what bizarre beliefs are popularly hugged as truth so that when it happens it is like a slap in the face. This is how pogroms get hatched.

Naw. I live in a mixed Austin neighborhood of professionals: Jews, blacks, Hispanics and whites. No tension, no nonsense, very little crime. Everybody's friendly. They're too busy working and raising children to have time to appear on TV spewing hatred.

I don't believe a majority of blacks pay attention to this stuff. The ones I know consider Sharpton and other race agitators to be an embarrassment.
