Mel Gibson to do what?

According to JP:

Joe Eszterhas says he's convinced 'Passion of the Christ' director is right choice for film about hero Judah Maccabee.
If there ever was a good time to say "oy vey", this is it, methinks.

Maybe we all could reconsider? Notice that the colors above already match the Zionist theme. Possibly, with an appropriate voiceover, we can manage with the already existing stuff?

Just asking.

Spurred on by his success in the Beaver I would have thought some animal based films would be up his street. Titus the Tapeworm would be an ideal next character for him

Surely Titus is much more consistent and balanced fellow than that.

Why not?  He is a great example of Hollywood sentiments.

 Who? Titus or Mel?

 Both!

WTF!!!!! (First reaction. Good thing I was not drinking anything then, would have spit it out all over the key board in astonishment/outrage.)

Well, it makes as much sense as most anything else in Hollywood. Still prefer Harrison Ford, myself, though he is getting a bit old for the action hero part.

Joe Eszterhas was originally a newspaper reporter in Ohio. He got fired after it was found out that Eszterhas had made up quotes from local residents about a major disaster. It was after that when Eszterhas moved to Hollywood to become a screen writer.

Harrison Ford may find it difficult to jump and climb all these local hills indeed at his age ;-)
