You're beatin' a dead mule. The Texas Legislature (Republican) already redistricted him out of re-election.
I 'fess up to not understanding the US internal politics, but he is running for POTUS job now, and seems to be fairly popular.

Far as I can tell, he's mainly popular with the Democrat MSM which has an interest is playing up the most extreme Republican candidate for POTUS. I can't imagine Republicans voting for Paul once the primaries begin. They didn't in '08, the last time they had the chance.
Let's hope for a repeat performance then.
Oh yea. These things he says rank right up there with knocking down olive groves to plant settlements. Or jailing prominent Palestinian figures who back peace negotiations. What about meddling in American politics for 50 years AFTER we gave you your own land, jets and missles, not to mention plenty of $$$. But I guess that's in your inherently greedy nature. What more do you people want from America? You have a lot of nerve meddling in American politics while being a citizen of another country. He might be the best thing that could happen to Israel. Wouldn't you people want to be left to your own devices when dealing with your neighbors instead of asking America for permissipn for everything? Go conquering on your own dime. Well, I guess telling a jew to do that would be like telling a liberal to pay for their own healthcare.
