Netanyahu: recalcitrant, myopic, reactionary, obtuse, blustering, pompous, and “Aspergery” chickenshit?

Surely the list is limited and unimaginative, and surely I can add a few choice adjectives to it. However, I always considered that this business of sticking adjectives to my PM is strictly my prerogative. And I want to state it quite clearly that in no circumstances have I resorted to foreign assistance of any kind.

Especially not from a government that seems to have been totally derailed on most matters of its foreign policy. Starting with its mumbling and stumbling on the gradual dismembering of Ukraine by Putin, via gradual surrender to Iranian nuclear ambitions, to its half-hearted treatment of the ISIS Islamofascist menace and its rollback of all achievements in Iraq and Afghanistan, where so much blood of American soldiers was spilled. Not to mention the awkward courtship of the Islamist regimes of Qatar, Turkey and similar... the list is too long.

As for this:
This official agreed that Netanyahu is a “chickenshit” on matters related to the comatose peace process, but added that he’s also a “coward” on the issue of Iran’s nuclear threat. The official said the Obama administration no longer believes that Netanyahu would launch a preemptive strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities in order to keep the regime in Tehran from building an atomic arsenal. “It’s too late for him to do anything. Two, three years ago, this was a possibility. But ultimately he couldn’t bring himself to pull the trigger. It was a combination of our pressure and his own unwillingness to do anything dramatic. Now it’s too late.”
This is not an insult to Bibi, rather a confession of own impotence when dealing with a clear and present danger. And the weaselly attempt to present nuclear-armed Iran as a purely Israeli problem doesn't deserve a courtesy of an insult - it is pathetic. Pity Jeffrey Goldberg didn't see it that way.

We here should brace ourselves. With the two years left of the current administration and its strange chief, bent on golf and the ostrich policy of sticking his head in sand, anything could happen.

And it will happen, I bet.

You're exactly right my Torah toting friend. But I'm curious, above you only listed the US Administration's achievements, not their failures, how come? Yes, it was quite an early valentine, "hugs and kisses for Bibi.

Heck you didn't even need to roll out one of your prophet guys for that prediction. It's going to get interesting.

Yeah, I am mellow today, I know it.

And I sure didn't call upon any prophet for now, not wanting any gory details ;-)

There is chatter about US veto (or not) for the forthcoming Palestinian state vote in 67 "borders" in the Security Council.

I am starting to think the probability of US sitting it out is over 50%. Will come handy for Obama as a way of leaving a "legacy" as well as sticking it to Israel.

"Torah toting friend"? I've been wondering what Snoopy "totes" when he is not typing. Now I know.

Geoffrey Goldberg is one dumb shit-stirring pissant for letting this 'chickenshit' quote into his article, but calling Nathanyahu names behind a veil of anonymity automatically bestows ChickenShit status on the 'brave' Moron who is being quoted. Now lets see this brave pissant squirm, when the DC sieve leaks out his identity.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

This is definitely one of the ways to stick it to us. We shall see.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Everything comes out eventually...

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Well, whether Goldberg did it with pleasure or not is hardly material, but as a reporter he is known to be sticking to facts, so I don't think he invented it.

Anyhow, the logic of calling Bibi names because he didn't do something Obama forbade him to do in the first place is kind of smelly and definitely tells more about the source than about Bibi, that much is clear.

GideonSwort said...

Goldberg is Obama's pisher mouthpiece. I didn't allude to him inventing the quote. I'm sure that some close-to administration prick let it out. Since neither of us cares much about Bibi, and you state so in your piece succinctly, we are therefore only left with the issue of the patsie behind the quote, and the fallout which will pain democrats hereon, once the wrath of the Cabal is noted at the poles and coffers.

This administration's clout has taken a nosedive in one more arena which will haunt the Legacy of this President eternally. He will be known as The Prez who relinquished the Super from US Power.

Gideon,
I think there is a good chance that the source is Obama himself.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Yep, I wouldn't argue with that.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

The thought not to be rejected, of course.

GideonSwort said...

While I wouldn't reject the thought off-hand, I think it more likely that there's a patsie behind this.

As I alluded above, it seems as though the 'Cabal' has already hit the media with reports of prominent Jooz showing distaste for this shameful childish debacle.

Just keep Tehran targeted by those submarine missiles and make sure they know it is.

Mr. Goon with a Torah? Doubt he has one in the house, or knows where to look for it if he does.

Dick Stanley said...

An excellent chance the boss of this JV administration is the source of the comment. And talk about psychological projection.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

That for sure.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

I do! Have a few of them, army issue all.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Interesting, anyway.

Dick Stanley said...

Interesting. The American military wouldn't dare issue bibles.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

Usually done during the oath, close to the end of bootcamp. Traditionally near the Wall, but not always.

Snoopy, I always suspected that, unlike Bill Clinton, you did inhale. Welcome to the club!.

Marc Goldberg's column in the Times of Israel sums up what Bib is perfectly, except I think chickens**t is too mild a term for Bibi. Read his column at http://blogs.timesofisrael.com/but-bibi-is-a-chickenshit/

SnoopyTheGoon said...

The club of them inhalers includes some very respected characters, David.

SnoopyTheGoon said...

The only difference, David, is that it is an Israeli who is saying it. Protocol, you know, protocol. Just what I said in the post: we don't need the Obama's people who themselves are pretty much a failure in foreign policy to tell us what Bibi is, we know it pretty well.
