A nice glimpse into the mindset of the Open Zion management: their recent change of the comments policy and its immediate effects, as partially described by The Contentious Centrist.
Here is the set of rules as published:
COMMENTING RULES WILL BE APPLIED FROM NOW ON. NO MORE ARGUMENTATIVE THREADS. NO MORE LONG COMMENTS WITH LISTS OF HYPERLINKS. NO PERSONAL INSULTS. NO RACIST COMMENTS ABOUT ARABS, JEWS OR ANYONE ELSE. USERS VIOLATING THESE RULES WILL BE BANNED.Aside of noting that the moderator, or whoever posted this, considers the upper case to be more penetrating, I just love the "NO MORE ARGUMENTATIVE THREADS" part. Somehow after reading this I felt an urge to stand at attention, to salute and to click my heels smartly afterwards.
Strangely or not, so far the most foul-mouthed anti-Zionist commenters are thriving, while pro-Israeli ones are being banned. Probably for being argumentative.
