This is why I feel so very sorry for Edward Snowden; I think he's about to fall into the chasm between his conception of liberty and that shared by the people whom he imagines he's defending.A great conclusion of a great post by Shuggy.

He is somewhat more likable than Manning and Assange but we're still learning his intentions regarding the Chinese.
I am definitely more concerned about the Chinese intentions regarding him. He must know a lot.

I wouldn't assume that Snowden's is the white hat. It is possible that he knows not nearly as much as he pretends and that he started all this for some other, so far undisclosed, reason.
You may say that sort of thing as often as you like, as far as I'm concerned. I wasn't sure about that one so thank you for your kind words.
Oh sire, Snowden may have been acting upon some fairly complex set of reasons. Doesn't matter much, he is, most probably, heading into a Chinese "think tank" now ;-)
