Sweden male train drivers wear skirts? Good, it's only fitting.

Some people seem to be surprised by this news.

The workers, who operate the Roslagsbanan line north of the capital Stockholm, have been wearing skirts to work for the past two weeks. Employer Arriva banned the drivers from wearing shorts after taking over the running of the line in January. But the company has given the men its blessing to wear skirts, according to local newspaper Mitti.
I, on the other hand, was expecting this for quite some time. Because year after year the Swedish feminists are getting closer and closer to their pissing victory:
A Swedish political party is taking a stand against upright urination. At a county council meeting Monday, the Left Party, or Vänsterpartiet, tabled a motion that would require office washrooms to be genderless with a sit-down-only requirement, reported the news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå.
I fully expect the opposition to this move to crumble soon.

So the skirts are not a bad idea at all. If you see what I mean.

And more. Much more.

Men wearing skirts is nothing compared with the drive to institute a "polyamory" marriage. The Swedes seem quite incapable of withstanding any novel idea, no matter how stupid, reactionary and self-injurious it may be. It's as if there is a committee somewhere constantly churning out new progressive possibilities based on the premise: what else can we do to soften the minds of people and undo the fabric of functioning society.

I guess it comes naturally, from being exposed to 7 months of cold every year. Freezes one's brain.

I dispute this assumption :) Canada is colder than Sweden and for longer periods of time.

Er... sorry, didn't mean nothing personal ;-)

Have them go au natural and then wait for the complaints.

I doubt Swedes will complain. Too phlegmatic.
