There appears to be confirmation of the Palestinian Authority's censorship"guidance" of foreign journalists I reported previously. It comes via the elderofziyon site and links to a different source, the Gatestone Institute. Find it here.

"Representatives of the international media — as well as human rights organizations and groups that claim to defend freedom of the press -- have not protested against the PA's threat to restrict journalists' workand even arrest them. One can only imagine the response had Israel issued a similar ban or threat."
They probably subscribe to a [per]version of Bertrand Russell's fallacy of the Superior Virtue of the Oppressed, as articulated by Prof. Abukhalil: "I don't like flags, and I don't like nationalisms, but...for Palestine and the Palestinians, anything and everything." Representatives of the international media do not mind censorship, restriction of collection of information, or absence of freedom of the press in Palestine. in their opinion, either Palestinians earned the right to lie, suppress truths, and mislead or they are to be forgiven for being forced to these measure by Israeli occupation. .
Like the "forced". How true. Or so the "oppressed" would like us to believe.
