The real question is why did it take them so long? Other US administrations haven't been any quicker in condemning the HRC (there's an oxymoron if ever I heard one: this lot as a "Human Rights Council"?). There's not a lot more to say, except that the article from the JTA, via The Tablet, is here:

Sure did take them a long time. Makes you wonder if the move is a cover for something even less attractive coming around the mountain.
Well, Obama never concealed his position on settlements. So he repeated during his visit.
Sure got Bibi to apologize to Turkey, didn't he? Wonder what concealed thing Obutthead threatened to do to Israel otherwise?
