All in a day's work

Three headlines in today's BBC (on-line site):

'Black widow' bomber attacks Russia police

Philippines troops clash with Abu Sayyaf - 12 dead

Gunmen kill 12 in Baghdad brothel

There must be something in common between the three, but the day is too slow and the weather is too clement for coherent thought. Bomber? Troops? Brothels? Dunno...

You don't know Snoopy!? I'll uncover the truth for you:

In none of the shootings and bombings were the war cry Shma Israel used. So simple.

The BBC knows what it means and we are supposed to know what it means, but they and we are not supposed to admit that we know what it means.

Is it raining there? Been pouring off and on here since Friday.

Yes, it all must be a coincedence, with no real link between them! (satire).

Note: The use of female suicide bombers, the so-called Black Widows, was started by the Tamil Tigers in Sri Lanka around 1990. The most famous of their victims was the former Indian Prime Minister, Raji Ghandi in 1993. The Tamils minority are mostly Hindus and were fighting for a separate state from Sri Lanka, which has a Buddhist, Sihanese majority.Until 9/11 the Tamil Tigers had probably killed as many people by suicide bombing as anybody else had.
