Sadly the Agincourt origin of the sign is probably just a myth but it was vlearly a pejorative sign by the 20th entury,
I like it. It's a good expresive gesture. Far better than the flipping of the bird which I think is typically american - in that the Americans are just too lazy to use both fingers :)

I believe that in that post the author didn't mention that in a Latin regions two fingers may mean something else, as well.
