Looking at the pictures, however, we (the Elders), being alien to the strange ways of Brits to have fun, are confused a bit. Especially after that explanation:

A Marine told The Sun: "This is how we bond and make sure we're all together - and will remain together fighting for each other no matter what."

Does it mean that if I put on a blong wig, a dress and a pantyhose, and then force my fighter buddy to undress and do some cruel and unusual things to him, he will bonded to me in some strange intangible ways?

Hmm... Mebbe we have to talk it over with our chief of staff.
