Dear Canucks, we love you anyway

Some Canadian with a chip on his shoulder (because of some Americans) posted this:

You know, looking at this I think about one thing only: where is the closest igloo to get away from this place?

For Louise.

Exactly, what a dispiriting sight. They'd be better off in igloos. With wifi they could telecommute instead of joining those horrendous queues.

Yep.

Pour moi??? Truth be told, all the fossil fuels being burned on that freeway melted the igloos. The Americans are just a little late, that's all. (This must be Tarana, which besides being the Centre of the Universe and home to Sasa Petrasec (sp.?) is Grand Central Station of America Bashing Inc..) All those United Empire Loyalists, you know. They just can't get over it.

Thankfully, you still have some permafrost left here and there, so hope springs eternal.

It's pouring rain outside at the moment. We've had sooo much rain this summer. Where's Moses when you need him?

If that is the 401 bypass that takes you around Tarana (and I think it is), it can't be rush hour.

I once traveled the 401 at rush hour and lived to tell the tale, Everyone is traveling like a bat-out-of-hell and it's bumper to bumper. If you aren't in the proper lane for your exit, you're shit outta luck, and it isn't even a scenic drive.

While we don't have eight-line highways (yet, and I hope never), everyone here is going like a moonbat out of hell, so it's quite familiar here.
