Point - counterpoint

Daniel Blatt aka Gay Patriot asks Why do some Americans who favor “smaller government with fewer services” continue to back Democrats?

Dave Schuler of The Glittering Eye tells Why We Must Change, but on the way does a pretty good job of explaining why there isn’t much chance that, regardless of who is elected in November and regardless of intentions, we will shrink the size of the federal government appreciably.

So I guess Daniel's question is answered: no one seriously believes that a change in the governing party will really cut down the size of the pork barrel.

So there.

If they Republicans were actually the party of limited government there would be no reason for the Libertarian Party.

Bingo ;-)

If the Libertarian Party would not endorse candidates who wish to gas Jews they would not be considered the Nazi Party.

I am not sure the candidate(s) you mention want to gas Jews, but they definitely attract many fellows that do.

Oh, I don't know. It's for sure nothing will change with Obumbles re-elected. With Mittens, there's always a chance. And it's for sure Israel will get the support it needs if it does attack Iran. With Obumbles, they might or they might not.

Or the Tea Party, for that matter.

I kinda doubt that the other issue - the pork barrel one - will be in any way mitigated by Republicans. After all, politics are built on that.
