I don't know, folks. I've watched this clip, and my old prejudice to handguns surfaced again. I mean, I know the man is not some kind of Deadeye Dick, but still - had he used a right kind of weapon, the results would have been different. "V" or no "V".
Otherwise, it looks like Darwin's teaching has won the day again.

Probably the fanatacism more than the hand gun. Probably also the first time he'd fired it. Glad he hurt no one and paid for trying to.
Hey,
Thanks for sharing the link - but unfortunately it seems to be down? Does anybody here at maggiesnotebook.blogspot.com have a mirror or another source?
Cheers,
William
That true.
Apparently Clay Duke was Bipolar (the new term for schoziophernia), subject to depression and was unemployed. Just before he started shooting he said he was going to die that day. Although Duke was said to be a good shot he missed everyone he shot at. After the security guard wounded him three times, Duke committed suicide by shooting himself in the head. Sounds like this was a variation on what is called suicide by cop. I.E. someone confronts police officers, pulls out a gun like he is going to shoot thereby forcing officers to open fire and kill him. Read the whole rather depressing story, "School Board Shooter Led Troubled Life" at http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/12/16/national/main7155521.shtml?tag=channelMore:pop
Thanks. If his working habits were like the quality of his shooting, it's quite clear why he was unemployed.
