"Unsquare Dance" is the follow-up to "Take Five." "Take Five" is in 5/4 so Brubeck thought he would follow it up with another piece with a compound time signature, this time 7/4.

Dave Brubeck is 90, Wow! I have to confess I thought he had gone on to the Great Jazz Jam in the Sky!. My Dad is a great Brubeck fan and I grew up listening to his records. He will be glad to hear about this. Thanks Snoopy and Yitzchak Goodman for this post, the video and for the info about the Unsquare Dance.
