Not being religious, I have probably picked up a few key words here and there, thus I believe (hope?) that I can grok when somebody spews some obvious crapola. Jeffrey Goldberg is certainly hell bent on producing some. Quite a lot, in fact.
Victor Shikhman tears him apart. Enjoy.

Yeah, you really gotta fear those "radical yeshivas." Goldberg is just another Leftist twinky. Shikhman did a nice job underscoring JG's irrelevance.
To Goldberg every Jew who doesn't believe as he does is a radical Jew. While blowing up the eyesore is not allowed, believing in the Messiah is ok. It is a basic idea of Judaism.
I suggest Goldberg return to Shul every day and study the Holy books for a while.
OK, let me see if I understood.
Mr. Goldberg stood on a yeshiva roof in the Muslim Quarter in Jerusalem, and all he could think about was how easy it would be to fire a missile at the mosque. Excuse me mr. Goldberg, but it seems that you are the one doing the radical thinking here. Have you ever asked the yeshiva students whether they stood on the roof thinking about firing missiles?
Your world is twisted and irrational, mr. Goldberg. You write: "But al-Qaeda itself has little ability now to launch a world-changing attack". You also write: "A deadly attack prompted by anxiety about the building of mosques, for instance, would do irreparable harm to America’s image as a diverse and welcoming refuge, and could trigger the clash of civilizations". Excuse me (again) for ruining your illusions, but to claim that the fate of America lays in the hands of lonely psychotic individuals rather than a genocidal well organized openly terrorist organization makes your country look like a sinister (sic!) joke. You have very little faith in both your countrymen and your ethnic extended family. All this spiced with the apocalyptic horror of a jewish yeshiva in the heart of the MUSLIM quarter in Jerusalem. The end of the world will not come about until jews are able to live wherever they choose, isn't that a fact?
Yup.
Exactly, but I cannot give recommendations to a luminary like G.
This is exactly the stuff apocalyptic visions are build of, Pisa. G. was in the mood, I guess.
