First the original quote:
Turkish military operations in northern Iraq have killed some 90-100 Kurdish guerrillas since last week's launch of artillery and air strikes against the separatist group, the armed forces said on Tuesday. The contents of that quote are crystal clear, right? Now the same quote with emphasis here and there:
Turkish military operations in northern Iraq have killed some 90-100 Kurdish guerrillas since last week's launch of artillery and air strikes against the separatist group, the armed forces said on Tuesday.Would it mean, by any chance, that a nation, a member of NATO to boot, performs artillery and air strikes against another nation, its neighbor, "rendering ineffective" (an original Turkish term) about a hundred people? I am afraid it does.
Any protests? Amnesty, HRC, UN, ICO? Anybody out there?
Thought so...
