Did me mostly because it has a good plot and characters.

Finished Finkler. Some of it was funny, much of it was merely depressing. But, of course, it mirrors the current situation of Jews in England/Israel/etc. quite well. Which accounts for the depressing aspect.Dick Stanleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18234909.post-14655850622890476412011-10-09T09:15:20.247+02:002011-10-09T09:15:20.247+02:00Well, being strong as I am in managing the farm, m...Well, being strong as I am in managing the farm, mistakes are a slight possibility.SnoopyTheGoonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18234909.post-10644179675899167272011-10-09T08:28:48.922+02:002011-10-09T08:28:48.922+02:00somewhere between feeding the chicken and milking ...somewhere between feeding the chicken and milking the cats

"Milking the cats" means giving them milk? Can't go wrong for 5 bucks for the Kindle version.

Meanwhile, you should try Reamde by Neal Stephenson, a pricier one for sure, but a very entertaining, world-circling spy/gangster/video gamester/jihadi-terrorist novel. Which also addresses some of the points of your essay here.

As for me, I would say most of the good guys in the GWOT do not even think about the so-called "legal" aspects of finding and dispatching jihadis, nor should they. As for the Constitution, well, hardly anybody pays much attention to it anymore, certainly not the politicians.Dick Stanleynoreply@blogger.com
